Scientific meetings
Our scientific meetings foster discussion and debate at the cutting-edge of biomedical research, aiming to bridge the gap between basic and translational science. They typically attract 150-300 international delegates across a broad range of topics including microbiology, immunology, infectious disease and neuroscience, with an emphasis on genomics and bioinformatics aspects. Bursaries are available for students to attend our conferences.
Courses
We deliver courses all over the world, either at the Wellcome Genome Campus, UK or at international training hubs in collaboration with regional partners.
Our courses are aimed primarily at biomedical research scientists, clinicians and healthcare professionals, and provide practical and interactive training in the latest genomics-led laboratory techniques and data-analysis tools.
All courses held in the UK are subsidised, with additional bursaries available to cover up to 50% of the fee. Courses held at our global training hubs, are free-to-attend for eligible applicants, with travel and accommodation bursaries also offered.
