Liã Bárbara has a scientific background in Global Health with broad experience in capacity development in resource-limited settings in Latin America and Africa. Currently, she is an education developer at Wellcome Connecting Science dedicated to developing courses to democratise genomics sequencing and analysis capacity worldwide. Liã holds a PhD in Tropical Medicine from the University of São Paulo, Brazil.
